That's a fair few games heading to the store today - what, if anything, are people gonna be picking up?

It's Wednesday evening, the store's all lovingly updated.

It's PlayStation Store day!

A little quiet today for anyone not on PS+. PS+ users, on the other hand, get a whole wodge of TikGames free! Plus Awesomenauts!

I think it's a great idea, when trying to market a game with a strong online component, to get involved in the Plus program, because it guarantees a certain volume of online players, which can only be good for those other people looking to buy the game.

What else is catching people's attention on the store today? Skullgirls is finally out, for you 2D beat-em-up aficionados. And there's the DiRT demo. Plus yesterday's new GT Academy - anyone taking part with an eye to becoming a professional racing driver?

Free LittleBigPlanet costumes never hurt, and if anyone's not played the original Max Payne before I'd really recommend it - great level design, solid shooting mechanics and a spoonful or two of weird for interest!

The PC version is a much better purchase though (higher textures, higher resolution and higher framerate), and easy to buy on Steam and quite cheap during the various Steam sales that happen now and then.
