Blood Omen and (specifically) Soul Reaver were awesome games on the playstation, so why aren't they on the store? Soul Reaver is released in the US store but not here so there are clearly no legal matters. What's the problem? I understand that SCEE and SCEA are different companies altogether but come on, a genius could see the potential value of these games being re-released

I'd love to have Blood Omen on the store, just so I can play it at work on the PSP, but I think the problem might be with the licenses over here. Because if I remember correctly, BO:LoK was published by Crystal Dynamics (and developed by Silicon Knights) whereas LoKoul Reaver was developed by Crystal Dynamics after they were bought out by Eidos (who then published it). So I don't know if Eidos got around to buying the rights to publish the original game over here or not, which is why we haven't got it on the store.

Saying that, I'd love them to do a HD collection and have all 5 games on one disc, including the below par Blood Omen 2, because that would be an epic gaming marathon weekend.

No, you can't say that... Different regions have different legal problems. And usually do.

In fact, you can't even say that there are no emulation issues between the US release and the European release... For European languages other than English, the European store would obviously prefer the European release, but alas for us English-speaking folks, that's no consolation.

I loved the first game, and I felt it lost a lot of the rpg goodness after that.  If blood omen came on the store I might get it for the psp.

I've been seeing a lot of love for Blood Omen:LoK over the last few weeks/months. Surely there's someone out there who reads these boards and thinks "You know, maybe we should try and get this on the store."

It's been mentioned on the store update blog by a few people so I think it's fair to say it's 'on the list'.

    Arghhhh dude you taking me back now, I remember playing Soul Reaver on my PS1, those were the days, i still have my original copy in my gaming cupboard, sadly i can't play it as the slim ps3 is not compatible with ps1or 2 games. i for 1 would defo buy if they did put it in our ps store, to be able to run around as the "devourer of souls Raziel" once more would be great,

My copy of soul reaver got lost so I only have Soul Reaver 2. It's still good, but no where near as amazing as the original
