Loading speeds on PSN games

Hello all,

I was considering buying Uncharted 1 and 2 on PSN.

Due to the high hdd space it will require I was wondering if there are any differences between a cd version and downloadable versio? Are the load times faster?

Thanks in advance for the answers

I don't think their is.

The disc version will load and cache the data for the next area of the game whilst your playing to minimise loading between parts. and to shorten loading times, I asume the HDD version will do the same.

Also be aware the download version of Uncharted 1& 2 is arround 42GB so you will need double the space to download and install.

so you would need 84GBB spare to DL and install

Once installed the download bubble will be deleted freeing up the 42GB of initial download.

i've noticed some bd games from psn do load faster but also some that load slower i think it's part of the process of the conversion to psn from disk that causes it

Maybe it depends on if the game saves and loads simultaneously?

Dunno...just throwing it out there.
