PlayStation®Store Games

In the US Store, they have loads more, like Spyro the Dragon, Crash Bandicoot 2 etc.  Is there a chance we could have more games like this on the UK Playstation Store?

Don't hold your breath people have been asking this Playstaion store first opened the US get loads of content each month and we get next to nothing, sometimes we even have to wait upto 5 moths for a game or demo that the US has had for ages.

SCEE just don't seem to have a good grip on the whole online side of the console and just have no clue what to do!

its all down to who owns the rights to the game as most ps1 games r made by studios and devs that r no longer in buisness or were sold to others and the licensing issues within europe as well is an issue regarding ps games

It's not up to the store team. It's up to the publishers. And any number of lawyers.

And since the dawn of the home console, the international publishers have put Europe last. Often several years later than US and Japanese customers. Times haven't changed nearly as much as they should have.

Still. We got Vagrant Story ages ago and the US are still waiting for that. Small mercies.

Ages ago. Like, Christmas 2009. It's sitting on my PSP right now and weighs in at a skimpy 92MB - thanks to the use of in-engine cutscenes. Go find it. Buy it. Enjoy!

"The Good News: Six highly-requested, Sony published PSone titles received legal clearance for publish in SCEE territories just before Christmas!

The Bad News: I can’t tell you what they are yet until we know there are no other issues. Sorry! Expect that info post about PSone titles and the problems we face in getting them to you at the end of January."

That's brilliant

I don't have much interest in the games published by Sony, though, but I hope that two of them are Wipeout 2097 and The Legend of Dragoon. The Colony Wars trilogy would be nice too.

make it a bit general, like european psn, yes i want also these games at least some of them like spyro and also the legend of dragoon, chocobo racing and micro machines!!!!!!!
