Discworld would be awsome, I haven't played that since my PC gaming days!

Cracking May PS+ updates. Kind of kicking myself for buying Hamsterball, Majong Tiles and Magic Orbz a few months ago now though!

Oh well this month's games on offer aren't really good. The only thing worth downloading is Ghost future soldier by tom clancy. The rest of games are just average. I'm sure better titles will come out next month.. I hope so. mmm I just feel a bit disappointed that's all.

even tho i cant really complain ... but i cant help but notice silent hill isnt free... and i looked at the uk games and such and at the start i dint know we dint get the same games so i was dissapointed that i couldnt get both castlevenia games (but thats my fault for not checking) but what i also quistion myself is, why cant we buy the castlevenia games ? like they get them and we cant even buy them ... i dont have any idea if its hard to put it in or anything but its just a bit anoying to see that its based on region on what games you get from ps+ subribers. but yea did i miss the silent hill thing or ?

Yeah, you missed Silent Hill - it was last month's PSOne classic. It started last month a little late so it carried on a few days into this month. This month's classic is Max Payne.

As for regional games, it's usually a legal thing. Rights and licenses are arranged regionally; therefore store content is regional. It hurts older games more than it does newer ones. It can also be an emulation thing, with PSOne games - sometimes the PS3's emulator software (which was created and is maintained by a Japanese team, in an NTSC region) is better at emulating NTSC games (like American releases) than the PAL ones (like European releases).

After years of waiting we're now in the happy position that the EU store is willing to make NTSC classics available, but it's still a slow process getting the clearance.

I was really looking forward to getting Rock of Ages for free this week since I've only just signed up for Playstation Plus. So what's going on with that? Obviously the US have gotten this first but will it be free for us in the UK when it finally arrives?

The US PS+ scheme is completely separate from the EU PS+ scheme, and has to be because the regions differ quite considerably, especially given the number of different regions in Europe.

The EU Store Team tries to match the US store but there are clearly differences in both content and even policy, apparently.

Rock of Ages has not been released at all in EU (on PS3). When it does get released, I'd say there's a strong chance it will be free on Plus, but that's just speculation based on experience.

I'm not 100% sure whether to purchace it again for stating in May... I mean, I think Silent Hill would be awesome but I would love for them to release some newer games for free on PS+, I know it's a big ask but they are doing a great job, will concider resubbing when it comes out
