Hi
I'm a current subscriber to PS+. My current deal isn't due to expire until July I think. I don't like the idea of automatic renewal so I've turned that off. However, I want to carry on my PS + experience and want to take advantage of promos (like the current 20% off a 1 year subscription until 25 January).
Is it possible to purchase the promo now - so that it is queued and ready to go when my current subscription expires in July? Or is it the case that if I buy it today, the second subscription starts from today?
If I do, will it cause any problems with any games I've already downloaded as part of PS+? i.e. will the system treat it as two seperate subscriptions - rather than a straight forward renewal?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've tried searching this forum, the FAQS and google (!) for the answer without any joy.

No it wouldn't.
PS+ subscriptions stack so you can buy whenever an offer is available.

Hmm, that's news to me.
Are you talking from experience?
