hi all

ive just bought a pre-owned copy of DCUO understanding that the 30 day code that came with it would be used, so would need to buy a new 30 days.

the problem is, i cant seem to find it on the Store?? how do i buy/subscribe?

Not sure if that's true but some users have been reporting problems with the subscriptions available on the store.

WOW, sony have done themselves out of some subscriptions fees there.

cant see that game lasting at all the way theyve done this!!!

That is, quite frankly, moronic.  I hope the company learn their lesson when they go bust.  I mean, World Of warcraft can be downloaded practically free, LOTR online is now free to play.  If these muppets can't take money off someone who has bought a preowned disc they deserve to go under.

EDIT: OK, I over-reacted.  SOE aren't going to go bust.  But it's still a moronic policy if they want -

1. to make more money

and 2. To have their game have a shelf life.  More players, more opportunities for dlc = more money.

It just makes no financial sense.

it makes no business sense. 

yes they want to figure out a way to stop trade-in games losing them money. i thought thats where DLC and monthly subscriptions came in. 

to make a game worthless after buying it is just wrong....to not tell anyone that this is the case is criminal.
