Hi, is it at all possible for the PlaystationStore to show the size of any download available? You could do this by including it in the information about the product/download when you have clicked to view some more detail.

There are people that have a limited amount of internet, and it would begood to show how big/small they are. Not only that, but it is good to give people a general idea of how long the download is going to take.

This is my first question/suggestion to you, so I am not sure how this system works (if people need to comment or like it for a high rating) but it would be great if you can try.

Some games, Motorstorm RC for example, do have this. In reality most people don't have download limits, so there wouldn't be much point in implementing it for people who make up a tiny percentage of their userbase.

To be honest, if you have a bandwidth limit these days, I strongly recommend changing ISP as there are plenty of cheap deals with unlimited data.

it is possible as the US store does it.

But do SCEE care no.

Been asking this for ages.

Been told they post the size of the item on shi  err twitter but not everybody users it and same goes for the ps3 blog.

It's just bone idleness of the store team file sizes should be on all items regardless of people's broadband limits. It would be handy for people to plan their HDD or memory card space i have truly unlimited downloads i'd like to still know file sizes.

Would anyone be interested in contributing to a shared google spreadsheet or something that would allow the community to build up this information in a single place?

It won't last, The community tried to do a Store update topic with sizes in.

It failed to last.

It be hidden some were on the forum.

It requires some serious commitment, certainly.

Does anyone have that kind of commitment to a list? I know I've got enough of a job keeping on top of all the demos coming and going. But at least I can easily get the file sizes for those (as it costs me nothing to do so...)
