Hi to all i have buy the digital version of shift 2 form PSN network but at the info says version 1.0

I know that the disc version has a patch 1.02 that fixes many problems .

Why my Digital version of SHift 2 Unlished never auto updates ?

I contact EA and they dont know anything about the digital version of PSN .

Can anyone help me how to update my digital buy of Shift 2 ?

PSN didn't have the patch? only disc versions got the update that i know of?

So all We that buy the Digital version from PSN we dont get patch 1.02 ?

And how we can fix the  bugs ? input lag steering wheel boat feeling ?

This is the only thread I could find anywhere on this. It seems that the digital version of shift 2 won't check for V1.02 which I believe is the latest patch. I tried going into multiplayer to see if that would initiate it but to no avail. I'm tempted to buy one of the smaller DLCs to see if that will help but I can't seem to justify spending ~ $10 for a free patch. I received Shift 2 Unleashed as a free PS Plus game. I noted that Far Cry 2 (free PS Plus game as well) also will not initiate a patch upon launching. Anyone have any info on this?

Do you know it's unpatched? I suspect the version on the store is pre-patched if it came out after the patch was released. Can you find a version number anywhere on it?

The patches are included in the digital versions of these games...I have both versions and they "feel" identical and there was serious lag in the controller in the disc version 1.00...now both disc version at 1.02 and the PSN version have no lag in the controls I assume that the patch has been incorporated into the PSN version.

The true test is to see if you can play against owners of the disk copy online.

But I suppose that's no guarantee - CivRev allowed different versions to play together - with horrendous results...

not all games but some.

It does not help though when the patch is included in the PSN version it does not tell you.
