Hey People a got these games the other day last night was about half way through Splinter Cell and my game crashed had to restart my PS3 and when trying to load up my save data was corrupted data???? is this a on going problem????

It happened to me playing the first Splinter Cell. I was about half way through the game and it crashed, so I turned off my Playstation manually, and when I went back all my save games for it had gone.

Just out of curiosity, did you guys actually save the game like right before it crashed?

Because i was playing the first game on the "return to embassy" mission and got up to the bit with the 2 trucks. I did a quick save, but after i walked forward a bit, the game froze for about 15-20 seconds; then when i died and loaded that save it loaded to the point of the freeze......

Makes me wonder if the crashes are caused by the save function having a stuff up (which is all the more obvious since your saves got corrupt).

I can't remember to be honest, I know I was on the mission after the Oil Rig (Splinter Cell) when it happended, so I had to start all over again.

The other thing is don't start a new game as it wipes your previous saves. I was hoping you could have a seperate save but you can't.
