Streets of Rage 2

Has anyone else noticed how slow this game is running it's truly awful, It is about as bad as the iPhone port. I've tried playing with and without smoothing and default screen sizes but it makes no difference.
I'm just glad I'm trying it with the Plus account because I was planning to buy it.

Re: Streets of Rage 2

seems to be the same speed as the orginal to me.  Both Golden Axe and Streets of Rage were a lot slower than their Final Fight/ Double dragon forefathers.

Re: Streets of Rage 2

I wish SEGA released the original Streets of Rage on PSN, that's easily my favorite Mega Drive game of all time.

All signatures sucks, especially those with images in them.

Re: Streets of Rage 2

You know, Other games also came as with the same theme of SEGA Vintage Collection and this port just really dissapointed me BIGTIME! I got it for free from PS+, played and didn't it even liked it and even the trophies are a complete joke. The framerate is slow and ugly and the controls are really really delayed. Sonic the Hedgehog 1 & 2, Comix Zone, Gunstar Heroes and Golden Axe (Arcade port) all run at the right speed simply fine.

For Streets of Rage 2 however is just simply ruined after all. Don't get me wrong it's an awesome game. Only thing that ruined it is the framerate. Too slow, too clunky and a waste of time. If you want to play Streets of Rage 2, do yourself a favour and buy SEGA Mega Drive Ultimate Collection, It's runs way better like what it supposed to run on an actual game. You'll thank me. Sorry Backbone, but SOR2 for PS3 runs too slow as a digital download. Least I got it for free as part of my PlayStation Plus.
