So we couldnt get it Wednesday so the release happened at the same time as the xbox?? How comes they got it Friday then????

coz microsoft will pay any amount to get something first. Makes them more appealing to the unwse

Some legal or technical reason of some sort, it will be out 7th/8th February for PS3.

It is more to do with having to wait till after US PSN which get it tuesday.

Probably makes people who own both consoles buy if for xbox.

Which is perfectly understandable.

Also,you cant just blame MS - The publishers have a choice to do what they want for their customers and their releases.

These timed exclusives are obviously aimed at people who own both machines - And MS is taking advantage of that.

SONY could do the same - They choose not to for their users.

Probably would have beeen delayed on ps3 in europe anyway - For localization reasons (yawn).

Oh you can blame MS. They tell publishers 'If you release on PSN first, then you cannot release on Xbox Live, ever'.

That is wrong ,yes - If it happens.But not illegal.

But the publishers still have a choice.

I'm not defending/slating either company here - I'm a lover of games,not manufacturers of the machines i play them on.

Not realy they could release at the same time.

Also US PSN tends to get stuff a day before XBL anyway.

Very good point.

Now - Why didnt i think of that?.

The explanation (excuse) as to why we get our games late,is localization.

But as many people have pointed out before - MS seems to get out most of its games in all regions at the same time,without much hassle. (for all users - silver & gold)

So this explanation is now getting a bit long in the tooth.

Regardleess,seeing as i now only use the ps3,i will have to put up with theses delays.

Shocking price for non plus members.

Especially when you consider you could use to buy arcade collections of various games at the fraction of the cost (per game).

And namcos very own collection on the store is cheaper.

Add to that - Its been playable in MAME for years on PC. (though not legal, i suspect).

Not really a fan though - I suspect if your a fan you'd pay anything.

But it does seem rather steep for such an old game.
