Re: Launch date announced next Monday 2PM GMT on PS Blog

Be thankful. Seed seem to have the pricing scheme set right. The US is being charged $19.99.

wow.  Don't get me wrong, it seems a full featured game and I'm sure its worth it.  Its just that over a tenner = not an impulse buy.

Agreed.

I'm willing to buy this on spec next week, purely because I'm a sucker for RTS games, I've been following this since it's initial announcement and the fact that it has the creation tool that Seed actually used to build the game.

Provided Seed show willing to follow up on any minor faults, Under Siege appears to be the most 'complete' PSN game (PS3 function wise) to date.

Plus, at £12 it's pretty much a given it'll have a platinum trophy to hunt :smileyhappy:

Plat has already been confirmed by F.Pina on the EU Blog, not that I hold much hope in getting it, most reviews have stated that Under Siege is (in parts) insanely difficult.

Short discussion on stuff: Under Siege producer talks units, bosses for PSN RTS.....

I forsee friendly fire being my downfall. :smileysad:

Don't know why the reviews are a little hard to find for this title, especially ones using new code.

What do you mean by that?  I have played some very funky PSN games that I consider "complete"..

SSHD

PAIN

Trine

Braid

list goes on and on...

The Red Johnsons Chronicles also has 10 hours worth of gameplay, not bad for a PSN game...if length of game is what you mean by "complete"...

I mean 'PS3 Feature' wise.

For example do all of those games have Screen Capture, Custom Music, Voice & Video Chat and Video Capture built in?

Since Sony put these 'features' in the hands of the developers (i.e relying on them to implement them) there is only one other title I know that does them all, Hustle Kings.

It's a bug bear of mine that more developers don't integrate all of these as standard, I mean the PS3 can do it, why not use it.

It's refreshing to see Seed include all of it.

Hustle Kings & PAIN have all of that barring screen capture but you are right in that it is good to see developers take advantage of these features!

HK allows you to do screen capture from the XMB. I would never have spotted this either if it hadn't been pointed out to me. :smileyhappy:
