Just had a quick question about how PSN voucher codes work when using them in different regions. I have been sent a legit code from a games company for taking part in a beta, and I wanted to gift this to someone through a YouTube competition, however I am based in the UK whereas others may be based around the world.
This code has no real price tag, so will it work in the US as well or just in the UK, or is the code strictly locked to my region? I have looked online but most questions regard PSN gift cards, where as my product is a code.

It will work all the winner would need to do is make an account based for the code so if it's a UK code then they would need to make a UK account or a JAP code would need to make a JAP account they are easy enough to do. From what i made out so far most member's have a US,UK and JAP accounts anyway since certain games are rare and only on certain stores.

Sony don't care if you have diff region accounts aslong as they are selling the content from that region, why else would the ps3 be region free with games instead of being region locked.
