I went to download Motorstorm Arctic Edge this a.m. so I could play it today... I've been having fun with Motorstorm RC on my Vita and thought it would be good to revisit Arctic Edge on my PSPgo. Anyway, I'm looking around and it's no where to be found... 

I know I own it - I purchased it on Nov. 1, 2009. Here's the confirmation email I got from Sony when I made the purchase:

As you can see, I paid $40 for this game, and I want to play it. Sony, WHERE IS MY GAME? Produce it, or refund my $40.

it was removed after someone found it allowed homebrew to run on the ps vita

it will return when the issues have been fixed

Okay, so they arbitrarily removed my game from my account for something I have nothing to do with, and I want to play it... They should refund my money; I'll buy something else for now, and when it comes back, I'll buy it again. Otherwise produce my game. I paid for it: they have to give me the game or refund my money.

u wont have to buy it again , it was removerd for security purposes and when its fixed u can redownload it again free of charge

if its a big issue then u need to contact customer support and explain the situation and ask for a refund , if a refund is given then the game once fixed will not be in your download list and u will have to buy it again

You know, funny thing is I did contact Sony customer support, and received a lengthy and utterly useless email from "Sandy" - here, let me quote it for you:

I can certainly understand your frustration considering the investment involved in this game and the anticipation you felt at playing it once more. I apologize for the disappointment you may have felt and I can certainly assist you in locating the game.

First, please verify you are signed in to the jimid account on the PSP®go system. Also verify the system is activated for game content for this account. You can verify this by proceeding to Account Management, System Activation.

The MotorStorm Arctic Edge game does require a demo, please download the demo first (from your download list or from the PlayStation®Store, whichever you prefer). Once the demo is downloaded, please download the game from the download list. You can access the download list by proceeding to Account Management, Transaction Management, Download List. As this game was purchased a couple years ago, it will be far down the list.

This is nice, but ridiculous, since it's clear to anyone with eyes that neither Motorstorm Arctic Edge nor the demo is actually available on PSN right now. It did get me to spend twenty minutes digging around there trying to find it, though...

Any news about how Sony is going to recompensate taking away game one already purchased and own?

You see, this is the big problem with game and consoles companies nowadays - they fight fiercely with second hand copies and strongly push their digital distribution service, but they just can't get it right. It is much better to have even a second hand UMD in this scenario, and all these digital stores are worth s#it when slightest problems arise.

i do have it luckily still on my PSPgo, though keep getting an error every time i try to play online.

if it cant be fixed i assume sony will offer some sort of refund
