hello i have alot of psn games download to ps3 if i backup my harddrive and put a bigger harddrive in my ps3 and reinstall my backup will my games still work as i am on my 5th download from psn network thank you

The download limit dose not work like that. You can download your content as many times as you want but only on 5 different PS3's. So you are fine to delete them and redownload them.

I know, simple question, how many PS3's have you signed in to with your PSN email address and password and then downloaded PSN games?

Right, so that is your one and only activation.

You get a total of 5 activations in case of a breakdown or theft.

Of those 5 activations you can redownload your PSN games as many times as you like.

Does that make more sense?

just asked sister and it has been activated on 5 ps3 mine being one of them so i can download them again on mine as mine is one of the 5 is that correct thank you for your help

if yours is the fifth console that has your account details on it then you can redownload them as many times as you want, but if that console breaks and you buy another you will have no activations left, if you can i would try and deactivate a couple of the other ps3's before the worst happens, do you posses 5 ps3's in your household then.

He probably given his login details to 4 other friends i expect, most do that, as i dont know anyone with 5 ps3's in 1 house
