If they didn't plan to update the store till late tonight they should have had the release date pegged as Tomorrow, not today!

I raced home from work (After i snuck out early) just to download and play Sonic 4 and nothing there

This is indeed a stupid situation - if they choose a release date, they should stick to it rather than make the claim and annoy everyone who has been waiting by not releasing it on the date. It's almost offensive, they only get away with it because we have no choice but to wait in this situation. I for one am quite irritated, as all I wanted to do today was see how much it would cost and whether they release a demo/trial alongside the full game so I could at least play a bit of it until I was in a position to be able to buy it.

I agree that this is ridiculous, but as I said in my prior post, there is nothing we can do - we just have to wait until they update the Playstation Store.

Thirded. How can it reasonably be called a 13th of October release date? Business hours are over. Imagine if a RL store put new stock on shelf a few minutes before closing, that's what it feels like is happening here.
