Another week, another PS3 demo... According to the PSN update blog, there are two new demos, but one of them, Greed Corp, was added a few weeks ago and I never noticed it disappear, if it did. Which just leaves the Lost Planet 2 multiplayer demo to sit alongside the Lost Planet 2 Co-op demo (which is still hanging around, for those who are interested).

The Store Update moves to Wednesdays from now on. And we're treated to 3 new freebies to try out - 2 demos and a trial/unlock version. Personally, I'm looking forward to trying out the Split/Second demo.

A bit of a weird one this week. We've got one brand new Trial&Unlock game, in the form of Rocket Knight, and two old demos (Dark Void and MotoGP) have returned to the store. These old demos coming and going from the store is making it difficult to keep track of the total. At least Ross McGrath gave us a heads up on this one in the Store update - though only in the comments. Usually, demos just disappear without notice.
If you do spot an entry on here that you can't find on the UK store (this thread is for UK demos only - I can't check the other stores!) then please add your note to this thread. Any information is gratefully received.

Hi all! Spring is in the air, and so is ModNation Racers! Well, that metaphor just doesn't sequitur but never mind, at least the weather's perking up. An astonishing 3 demos this week, 1 of which is on PSP and 2 of which are ModNation Racers. The third is this year's future-dated instalment of Tiger Woods PGA Tour Golf. EA have pulled a one-in one-out on TIger Woods '11 and have finally removed '09 from the store. Still, as all the games are much alike, it's not a great loss.

It's demo overload this week! No less than five demos and trial versions to get your teeth into.
For the PS3, there are trial versions of Voodoo Dice and Fret Nice, plus demos of SBKX Superbike World Championship and (long overdue) PixelJunk Shooter.
On the PSP, a demo of the portable version of Voodoo Dice. All in all, a pretty fine week!

The flood of demos continues! Nothing for the PSP this week, alas, but on PS3 we have demos of Green Day Rock Band, Hamsterball and Planet Minigolf.
Right. I'm off to play Hustle Kings snooker.

Thanks QW for all your hard work (and apologies if this has already been discussed!) but I have to ask why the store hasn't done this? I can't imagine that it would be so hard to put one extra section on the menu list for all the demos available rather than force everybody to trawl through everything, especially the free playable demos. It's quite frustrating; so are we asking too much or am I making life difficult for myself because I've missed something?
Hi DarkTealeaf... From what I've been told, the US store has a demo section and we know the Euro comics store has a section for free comics, so there's no obvious reason why the PSN Store guys in Europe won't give us what we demand (from time to time). Whenever the subject is brought up in the PS blog, it gets resolutely ignored (unlike other store potentials like gifting - every time that gets mentioned, Mike Kebby replies that he's hoping to see it too). So I can only assume that the European Store has a policy of not making it easy to find demos.
If anyone knows any more, beyond conspiracy theories, I'd love to hear it.
The only way SCEE provide you to find demos is to type 'Demo' or 'Trial' into the store's search engine - but I found that this will not give you all demos and trial versions, nor will everything it returns be a demo. And the results will be in any old order.
As the list approaches 200 PS3 games and 50 PSP ones, I suppose it's due time to trawl the store again to find the demos that have been quietly removed. >sigh<
