Who actually plays games that they don't even like just for trophies? Trophy ho's, and there's Achievement ho's too.
Achievement ho's vs Trophy ho's.. damn that's a lot of video game whores.
Anyway, an easy game to get gold trophy is Uncharted 1, 2010 South Africa < simply win the world cup for your team, if you're capable of such.
GTA IV finish it in less than 30 hours, I did in 12h, could've done in 9 or less.
I didn't play GTA IV second time just to get a gold trophy, it was like a time attack to see how much time I'd take to complete the story mode.

Easiest games for trophies I have played are:
Blu-Ray (all have platinums)
PSN

My list:
Sega Mega Drive Ultamite Collection/Sonic's Ultamite Genesis Collection:
Maybe a another one of the easiet Plat's to earn beside Terminator Salvation. But the hardest one is Yatta! where you had to beat Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. You will rack up trophies though but some are pretty hard to get.
Saw:
A another easy way to earn trophies and you can get them like 5-10 trophies within 5 mins including one where you just leave the game idle for 5 mins. No joke. But the game it's self is like way too hard. >_<
Splatterhouse:
Another not so hard to earn trophies kind of games. Just do as they say.
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince:
Just play through the game. There is a nice gold one once you beat the game.
And that's all I can think of.

I picked up Disney's Up from a bargin bin for £3.99 in a local supermarket, played it for 1 evening on a single playthrough, got the Platinum then took it in to Game for PX on another title the next day and got £6.00 for it.. A Platinum trophy and a profit, that cant be bad..
I hardly ever buy games at retail prices, why pay £40.00 on one title when the same ammount can net you 2 or even 3 older good quality games.
and NFS Hot Pursuit's Platinum is another easy trophy..

I disagree - getting all golds on all events can be frustrating and time consuming. A tip though: don't use the fastest car available to you.
Killzone 3 is an easy platinum. 1 or 2 days if you have the time.
Join the banter, trophy gloat and grab the sig pic!
