PlayStation® Trophy Hoarders

This has happened a couple of times to me now & my usual fix is to repeat the criteria again until I get the trophy but this time I refuse to do so as of how time consuming it is to meet the criteria in the first place. My predicament;

I have met every criteria for the 'The Gold Miner' trophy, 100% explore badges yet NO trophy!!! 

Anyone know a fix? I've even repeated some of the tasks, rebooted game & PS to encourage a resync yet nothing! 

HELP 


To make matters more insulting I've just achieved my 'Peek-a-boo' trophy & even that hasn't encouraged the 'The Gold Miner' trophy! GGGRRR 

Final nail in the coffin...I've just got my 100% on Global Events for the 'The Gold Spender' trophy. My badge list now shows 100% for ALL categories yet STILL no 'The Gold Miner' trophy! I have every possible trophy bar this one. A stupid glitch in the game is stopping me from achieving my platinum trophy yet when I speak to EA all they say is "We have no control over the trophies, contact Sony/Playstation" - YOU MADE THE GAME, YOU CREATED THE TROPHIES FOR THE GAME, HOW CAN YOU HAVE NO CONTROL???

So, Sony/Playstation...users & all.....HELP!

hey man, i think youre screwed, same thing happened to me with assassins creed brotherhood, collect all 101 borgia flags (collectables) i did that, but still nothing!! ill have to play the game all over again for my plat, incredibly not cool!! sorry man!!

It does sound like the only way to get it to recognise it is to delete the save at unlock all those badges again... Maybe if you did bother you could back up the save when you were close to the end?

I think if it misses the trophy unlock, unless it checks again, it will never realise it should be unlocking. It sucks, but SSX doesn't appear to be the tightest software engineering ever (as evidenced by the glitches on the loading screen).

Splinter Cell seems to have issues with quite a few trophies... but I think most of that stems from it being a PC port, and had the game been coded for the PS3 from day 1 it would have implemented a completely different save system that what it does...

The general recommendation therefore is to XMB quit and reload the game every time you fail a trophy conditions... stuff that, for Gold trophies where you are not allowed to set off alarms or be killed etc... over a 10 hour plus game..

So far I've had complete the Training Mission without failing fail on me... the above could be a way to fix it via a level select replay... but I've also failed the trophy in the police station for not shooting the 9mm.. which is odd because I never used it the entire level..

I had this happen with assassins creed 2. The final story trophy would not unlock for me. I reset the ps3 thinking i just had to re do that part, but i had to restart the entire game 3 times for this one trophy to ping for me it can get very disheartning when you are one away and it glitches
