mortal kombat 9 challenges you have to clear 300 challenges and guess what it is? bronze, for doing all that, ridiculous., not even a silver.

Its a Silver to clear all 300 challenges and a Bronze aswell as you unlock a costume.

Fat Princess comes to mind. All of the original trophies are bronze and a few should at least be sivler or gold e.g win 100 matches, which is quite time consuming. Only the DLC trophies were actually silver or gold.

I know there's definitely more, but I can't think of them right now.

In Ratchet & Clank:A Crack in Time "My Blaster Is Really Really REALLY Hot" was incredibly difficult, the last trophy I hadn't gotten. 10000 points on My Blaster Runs Hot! Took AGES. And it's only a bronze. Argh!

Harder ***** Balls on PAIN!!!! That trophy should be Platinum!! 3 bloody hours it took to get that. Gold at the very least.

completing 75% of just cause 2 for one piddily bronze trophy... not too difficult, just time consuming, took me nearly 65 hours!!!
