Do you actually have to keep all the artifacts to get the trophy.

Just wondered, as I kept a couple and sold a couple but still have a few to find

I kept them but they were in a chest in my house so I think you don't need to carry them (or still be in possession of them)

I think as long as you make the correct decisions during the quests the trophy should unlock. Personally i stashed all my Daedric weapons and stuff in my safe house chests just to make sure.

Cheers, going for plat on first playthrough. How ever many hours it takes! so I dont really want to have to make a new game later just for 1 Trophy. But I guess I will soon see what happens when ive got the rest. I figured I just had to unlock/receive them.

I mucked up 1 Daedric quest so did a 2nd playthru and you need to grind back up to level 30 to start 1 of them
