Good evening! Finally got the BioShock 2 platinum earlier. 
I only had the online ranking up to do as I'd already done the single player stuff a little while ago, before I was distracted by some of the 'big' releases recently; notably Heavy Rain and God of War III.
Did anyone like the online for BioShock 2?
I know a few of you have played it as I've spotted your names on the leaderboards. 
I actually quite liked the multiplayer, even though it is a bit of a mess in terms of lag, disconnects, matchmaking etc.
It's not going to win any awards but it was fun to play. I never really felt annoyed when playing like I would on something like MW2 where you respawn, and you're instantly getting killed by a chopper gunner. There's no real 'cheap deaths' and such I suppose.
The tonic (perks) system works well enough and they're generally balanced in the sense that they give a bit of an advantage, but not necessarily anything overpowering. Weapons and plasmids were fine. I generally used the nail gun with electro bolt or telekinesis + houdini for attack / electro bolt + geyser trap for defence. (I played Capture The Sister exclusively.)
I'm done with the game anyway.
Going to continue with Heavy Rain over the weekend. I've seen a few different endings and scenarios already since attempting the 'all endings' trophy. Have to say, I probably would have thought a lot higher of the game, if I hadn't of had such an abrupt ending. Going through and playing out the scenes differently definitely helps to appreciate them more though.

Yep I quite enjoy the online BS2. Not played it for a while though.
Have you any tips on the capture a sister trophy? Thats the only online one thats going to let me down at the moment as I always get killed within seconds of grabbing the sister. Plus I bit unsure of where I'm meant to go when I grab her.

Hey.
I only played Capture The Sister so I ended up capturing about 30 sisters by the time I got to rank 40. I mean, if you play that mode enough, you'll capture one eventually; whether you run her all the way back by yourself or steal your teammates capture, after they get killed trying to save her at the vent etc..
Once you pick up the little sister, you have to take her to the vent which is shown on the screen/HUD. It's not usually too far away, but still quite far to run on your own.
Always helps if you're on a good team who can take out the big daddy quick and protect you whilst you're carrying the sister.
The Houdini plasmid is useful as it allows you to become invisible for about 4 seconds (w/ eve saver tonic, or something similar). Gives you enough time to grab her, run past an enemy and such.
I can always try and give you a hand sometime. Might be a bit tricky to do but it should be fine.

its fustrating isn't it when a trophy is insanely stupid to get or hard , or its a boring trophy to get.
i still think that super stardust, pixel junk eden, have got the best designed trophies, quite a few of them are almost different game modes in them selves which give games an extra dimension.
anyway, i've put 25 odd hours into final fantasy 13 endgame , and still only come away with a hand ful of trophies, i think its time for a new game

finally restarted fallout 3 again today. only ahd a few of the trophies before i had corrupt data 
took me a while to restart has it be the third playthrough, got about halfway the first time, second to last mission second time. so im just gonna play through in small bits.
also order nfs:shift, i can't wait for gt5 anymore i caved in, this will have to do for now. at 17 pounds i might as well.
