Re: your fastest/most time consuming plat

fastest for me is between skyrim just over 100 hours and mw3 which is about the same

longest is possibly fallout 3 cos i spent most of my time messing around, plus stupidly (for some reason) i chose to do 4 playthroughs to get the trophys (3 for karma, 1 for bobbleheads), that took a good 300-400 hours

Re: your fastest/most time consuming plat

God of War: Chains of Olympus was my fastest, 9 hours and 6 minutes according to psnprofiles.com

In terms of hours spent I think Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and Yakuza 3 are tied, I spent about 150 hours on both of them.

The platinum I took longest to get though was Resident Evil 5, a bit over 18 months from the first trophy to the plat. It was also 2 years, 1 month and 4 days from when I got my first RE5 trophy to when I got 100%.

Re: your fastest/most time consuming plat

Time in both hours of gameplay, and days...

Shortest - Jak and Daxter... got it last Tuesday and Platted and beat the final boss at the same time late Friday night, without guides and maps... Actual hours unfortunately the game stats don't record, but I work and watched TV and did other stuff in the evenings, so it couldn't have been many hours..

Longest - Final Fantasy XIII - bought it at launch, beat the boss in maybe 60 hours within 3 months or so.... spent another 15-20 hours post game on it over the next month or two, and then basically shelved it until late last year when I picked it up again, and got the bug... kept playing until the Plat... my strikerate for traps and plat ingots was pretty good, although I did end up selling and buying/upgrading some of the weapons without saving to get the final trophy... thats a lot of gil and time to get all Tier 2 weapons and all the accessories.

While we're at it...

Easiest - a tie between Jak and Dante's Inferno... I'm guilty of playing the latter on easy, but it was on special, and is as close to playing an easy game for trophies as I've ever gotten..

Hardest - Resident Evil 5... A couple of the boss fights on Pro mode give it the slight difficulty edge over Dead Space on Impossible mode... I didn't use DLC weapons and suits on Dead Space either..

Re: your fastest/most time consuming plat

think my quickiest was Jurassic The Hunted, which took a day. the longest, without any big breaks inbetween was probably Crysis 2, Killzone 2 or an RPG like Dragons Age or a Fallout im guessing.

the most time consuming with time away from a game was maybe Bioshock or Heavy Rain which was over a year.

Re: your fastest/most time consuming plat

My longest was RDR. It was more time consuming that being difficult. It was due to the fact that I work long hours, so i was only getting a few hours in each night, so it took a while. i was well pleased when I got the platinum tho.
My shortest was lego harry potter years 1 to 4. It took me a week and a weekend to platinum that, I have a bit of a weakness for the lego games lol.

Re: your fastest/most time consuming plat

fastest would be Mass Effect 3 - got the plat in 4 days the longest White Knight Chronicles 2 - time played 1269 hours (granted some of that time was spent socializing in georamas and bemoaning lack of new quests - as well as playing it after I got the plat)

Re: your fastest/most time consuming plat

My fastest Plat was probably Saw took me about 8 hours all in all and my longest was resident evil 5 which took me about 18 months I think not even as long as Demon or Dark souls I got both plats inside 130 hours lol. (260 hours for both games)

Nothing worse than climbing the ladder of success only to realise its against the wrong wall.
Plats: Resident Evil 5 - Sega Ultimate Collection - Dead Nation - Terminator Salvation - Demon Souls - Saw - Dark Souls - Dead Space - Uncharted 3 - Dead Island - Spare Parts - Final Fantasy XIII - Final Fantasy 13-2 - Mass Effect 3 - Skyrim
