 My quickest platinum was GoW Chains of Olympus. It taken a day to get.  

 The game that took me the longest to plat was Just Cause 2. It taken around 100 hours of play to get it because even after completing storymode the game itself is only 25% complete. After storymode you use mercenary mode to get the remaining percentage needed for the platinum. Its a long grind but its also a great game which makes all the effort alot of fun and worth while.

Fastest ... probably one of the God of Wars or maybe Bioshock1
Most time consuming would be either Killzone2 (online and insane), Infamous 1 (sodding shards) or Resistance 2 (10k online kills)

Fastest was NCIS, 5 hrs 32 mins exactly (according to PSNProfiles.com)

Most time consuming was Fallout 3, 150hrs +

Fastest in terms of game play time are probably the Ashes cricket games. Both of them really quick and easy. Could be good games if only the difficulty scaled but hey ho.
Longest was Just Cause 2. I only did one play through having started on the hardest difficulty level. It wasn't difficult but there was just so much to do and collect etc. Took a little over one hundred hours of play.

Fastest I believe is:

NCIS
4 hours, 4 minutes, 33 seconds

Despite how easy the platinum appears, the game is actually highly enjoyable. It reminded me a lot of something like LA Noire, just wish less driving around doing other things.


Longest to a plat is:

Resident Evil 5
2 years, 9 months, 15 days, 4 hours, 5 minutes, 1 second

This came as a result of just not enjoying the game first time around. Lost save due t YLOD.

Then a friend said to me that they'd play online with me to get through the story, unfortunately the first time we tried, the disc got chewed up in her PS3 so scrapped that again. YLOD struck me again! But this time I had a backup save.

She borrowed a new copy about a year later, we finally got through the game on Normal, so I could get the infinite ammo and stuff like that.

I kinda dropped it again after that until it went on sale on the PS Store at Christmas, gold edition was cheap so I picked it up. Using my saves from previously playing, I went through professional difficulty solo! Therefore earning my platinum in style.

I believe the longest without any breaks though was:

Red Dead Redemption

2 months, 16 days, 7 hours, 31 minutes, 47 seconds

I believe I spent around 500 hours playing the game before getting platinum, although I wasn't actually trying until I unlocked a multiplayer trophy when messing around with friends in a team game. Next morning I set out to get the other 2 multiplayer trophies which I did indeed get, one of which being to be the top scorer in 3 consecutive matches. I won the 3rd round by a single kill so was a tense one. Then all I had to do was keep the same horse for 20 missions, done and dusted that plat!

Like many my fastest was Trine 2 with just under 20 hours. My longest are Skyrim and Ressistance 2, I'm not sure which is taking me longer as I haven't got them yet.
