Re: 100% Compatible Remote Play

I wanted an official answer and not a wikipedia answer.

Currently remote play is possible on ICO, Shadow of the Colossus and the God of War collection (1 and 2).

The function had been introduced in a recent update for the Vita, so other games are currently being worked on to use this function.

Battlefield 3 is not compatible with via remote play currently (if this has been done it would be unofficial).

As soon as more information becomes available regarding Remote Play gomaes compatibility, I will let you know.

Re: 100% Compatible Remote Play

I have found a method of remote play that is possable ok but not using a psp, psvita.

What you can do is get a hdmi transmitter and reciever and hdmi splitter. This means you can connect the signal form your ps3 to any kind of monitor device that has a  hdmi port.

An example of this could be a portable dvd, blue ray player using this method can mean yu can play on a small screen or big screen, allthough this method only works while your ps3 controller is in range of the ps3.

This can give you portability with in your home and true remote play.

Re: 100% Compatible Remote Play

I dont understand sonys difficulty with giving us full remote play it dosent involve programming its a case of sending a signla.

An example of this is the samsung galaxy note and galaxy S3 which you can remote play to your tv y using allshare cast.

All tou do is connect the samsung dongle to your tv and it mirrors your phone, this has meant that I can play  android games on tv as well as full factinality of all my apps. The dongle cost £40 from ebay and works perfectly,

If samsung can manage this why not sony,

Maybe due to the size of the files being continuelsy transferd.

Have you seen how much lag these hacked Vita give on remote play?

Even ICO and SoC have a fair bit of lag on my stock vita.

Nothing to do with the network as I am directly conected to the Ps3 for ICO and SoC.

More to do with the ps3 wireless not being N i would have thought (could be wrong)

If it's going to lag like that don't bother TBH

Sony are stabbing their loyal family customers in the back - We have 3 PS3s and 3 PSPs all on the same IP address and all registered with Sony. Why can't we use them at the same time anymore?
