Re: How do I change my PSN account on PS Vita?

If you haven't figured it out yet. Format - restore the ps vita system - restore - system will close all apps "YES" - restored to default "YES" - When it asks if you want to deactivate say "NO" that worked for me I got mine off of Craig's list from the previous owner.

Re: How do I change my PSN account on PS Vita?

I just bought a Vita, it was pre owned. It is still linked to the previous owners account and I know any of his details, how can I get it tied to my PSn account? Thanks.

Re: How do I change my PSN account on PS Vita?

i went to restore my PS Vita and deactivate but then it takes me to enter my PS vita email and password, it doesn't go through the full deactivation.  What can I do? this was a purchase from a second owner. HELPPPPPPPPP

Re: How do I change my PSN account on PS Vita?

Sony didn't make it easy to deactivate the PS Vita. I deactivated via my PS Vita like 20 times and it wasn't doing anything, and then I was told to do the old factory reset or whatever it was, and it reset it back to 'out of the box' settings.

I was still activated to it though, as I recently found out.
If you buy a second hand PS Vita, be warned of this, the previous owner did probably try deactivating it.

Buying another PS Vita next week though (still gutted we can't get it in White yet).

Re: How do I change my PSN account on PS Vita?

Hey just wondering, if i reset the psvita to change psn accounts I take it that all saved data like progress and trophies will be deleted as well? if so, kinda disappointed casue spent alot of time on games like disgaea to get a plat, and dont wanna lose all the progress, but really want to make use of the cross games like all stars battle
