Hello,
I am trying to sort out a NAT Type 3 error that I am getting.
I have a BT HomeHub Type 2 and, to cut a long story short, cannot get rid of the Type 3 NAT.
I have tried adding device to DMZ (No internet connection at all), setting port forwarding with port numbers I have googled for, setting Static IP addresses and all to no avail.
I cannot easily test my Vita with another wireless router so would like to know if :-
1 - Anyone has a way to sort this
2 - Anyone know if the home hub Version 2 is the problem.
Thanks
Stephen

BURN IT WITH FIRE!!!
In seriousness though, I have a BT Home Hub Type 2.0A and know what you mean. The Type 2.0B is the better of the two hubs, though both can get past the Type3 problem.
Open the hub manager by going to http://192.168.1.254 and logging in under the settings tab. (If you haven't before then the password is on the rear of the hub.
Click on Application Sharing and then choose "PlayStation 3" in the left dropdown box. In the right box choose the PS3 MAC address or name if one is assigned. If you are unsure of the PS3's MAC address you can find it in the PS3 network information menu.
Once you're done it should look like this:
Hopefully that'll help you solve your problem ![]()

Thanks for your response.
I do not have a PS3, I have a PS Vita.
I do apologise if I have inadvertantly posted into the wrong place.
Is there a work around for the PS Vita.
Thanks.
Stephen
