I've given up with it...every time I've tried over my 3G connection I get the same error.

I'll wait till I get off work and try again whilst outside to see if that makes a difference...but this is kind of stupid...my iPhone can obtain my location no matter where I am...but the PSVita, what you got to be outside for it to work? How is that possible?

my phone can use 3G inside just fine but not my Vita

I am such a pessimist sometimes but I am starting to think this could be a proper balls up. It stinks of hardware failure en masse.

Hope I am wrong, I, cripes, Sony don't need this.

im so disapointed... Near app does not refresh my location, same with the maps and cant get a location fix when taking photos... why cant Sony tell us some news!!!???? really disapointed...
