the 3G vitas include GPS hardware. The wifi only models dont. So for a wifi model to determine your location is less accurate in the uk anyway I think

I am amazed with wifi it gets within a few miles of your to be honest.

My iphone and ipad find my location spot on and they only use wifi. its no different to the way the vita should find me on my wifi Vita. Im just annoyed that sony have said nothing officially about it. and im hoping that they get a fix out for it soon

@raad go to your settings...securtity.... parent controls and you want it to be off.... allow ....allow

but now near give a massage said " Could not obtain data for your location "
and the map give me this " Could not identify your current location please try again later. (C2-13396-2) "

i'll try when i go out with 3G

All location settings and parental control settings are to their most 'open' options.

It did work once when I first got it, as I have a few things in my out and about record, but nothing now since Thursday.

yup, same here,but my maps arnt working either. Been trying since  the 22nd and it just said data obtained about an hour ago but it now cant send it.

Try it from laptop or mobile, it's pretty spot on.
