Same problem (From the US), Could not obtain location for near and the same from google maps.

I got mine from taiwan and use it in austraila could that be the problem??

what a balls up. Near was a launch feature of vita and it dont work.

just did a restore...moment of truth

Okay this is just weird...I had no parental controls on before Restore...I restored and now the system is telling me that I can't turn on Data Location due to Parental Controls

WHAT THE HELL SONY???
