Is it a physical crack from where the console has been dropped? Or is it just a darker patch of the screen?
OLED screens have imperfections on them which causes some darker parts to appear a little strange. It's not a fault but rather one of the few downsides to OLED. I can guarantee though that once you realise it isn't a fault you'll stop noticing its even there.
If its a crack however, then get it fixed ASAP so you don't slice your finger open.
