What the ***** are you on about? The graphics are amazing but the screen its self is faulty. I have Rayman origins and it looks horrible on my vita because of the fault. i said nothing about graphics. its a hardware issue it won't get better only worse

dont think he understands, these are dark lines that go up and down the screen that do not disappear during gameplay. Its not like the screen is pixelated or grainy, these lines are like someone has got a sketch pencil and has rubbed it over the screen in places

Pretty much every PSV screen has also these vertical lines if you look closely enough (usually visible on grey colors). Some just have more visible lines than the others. Conclusion: I'd swap my console as many times as I had a specimen with moderate enough lines not to bother while gaming.

It's just weird that some people report of no vertical lines at all. I don't understand why Sony doesn't come out with an official responce to the subject, as it's making people go crazy. I mean, it can't be cheap for Sony that retailers like Amazon are sending tons of theese "non-faulty" units back?

I've tried to record the problem with my iPhone and you can actually see it in the movie. Youtube's encoder managed to make the movie even more grainy, but it's still possible to see the lines. Just don't make the video fullscreen as it will become harder to see. Look in the dark areas of the screen and you can spot it. If you're still having a hard time spotting the lines, keep your eyes on the same spot on the screen when I'm moving the camera.

The lines are way more noticable with the naked eye, and it can indeed be distracting from time to time. I just want to know if this is normal or not, if it is - then that's that.

I've got it on my Vita screen... its quite noticeable on FIFA, so maybe its more noticeable when the majority of the screen is the one colour (albeit different shades)?

dude its certainly not faulty,all vitas have it,you`ll notice it more  when you play it in the dark and on some light grey/ grey screens,& if your got it too close

my vita also have these vertical lines. rest everything is ok.

I don't have this problem, but I have others. There is one dark spot near the centre of the screen which only shows up if the screen is dark. No matter how bright my environment is. And when my screen is showing a white picture it looks like it is really dirty, it just hurts my eyes when playing a game with lots of white things going on.
