When i made this thread i was really uncomfortable with my analogs being too near x button and dpad and sticks being wobbly. Now after trying out uncharted demo which uses maximum (i think) sensitiviness of analogs i didn't have any issues. I also think that ps vitas analogs are made slightly differently than some gamepads. It resembles analogs from nintendo wii nunchakus because they both are little loose though vita is loose left to righ and nunchakus up to down + both nunchakus and vita analogs has feeling that they are rubbing against something when doing circular motion. I'm sure that they are build that way and its normal for it to be loose UNLESS your character keeps turning in circles in unharted or wipeout. I don't think vitas analogs has more than 2 sensitiviness levels because it could make fps or shooting games pure hell.
I think that Sony didn't cheap out with making ps vita. It took 3 hits from sledge hammer before breaking apart, after dropping i fromt 1,5m to asphalt road it had only few small scrathes at rear touchpad, One guy used 5mins to try to break analogs by being really rough on them while playing but they survived. I'm pretty sure that ps vita is more durable than Gamecube which actually works after trowing it to wall.
All in all i have no more doubts about analogs or buttons. There is always possibility of it having manufactor issue which causes it to deteriorate faster if when that happens there's warranty.
Ps Persona 4 golden is better be coming to Europe or my Vita will face serious consequences!! Just jokin, i will only be really sad

Lol! It wasn't me. Some game reviewers did that drop test thing where they dropped it 3 times at different angles and i for one would never hit Vita with sledgehammer unless Persona 4 golden isn't coming to EU.
That sledgehammer thing wasn't good to test Vitas durability. I would have done 3 tests with 3 levels.
1. for screen. First i would be agressive with touch screen then i would try it with my nail and then with edge of coin.
2. For analogs. First press them hard while i play then slam them hard from side to side and then i would try how much weight they endure.
3. Drop test which isn't necessary anymore.
Every test of those would be done in 30min each. Its just such a waste to break it because those tests i mentioned above would have showed how rough you can really be with it.
PS That drop test was far more painful to watch than sledgehammer. At least it didn't need to suffer when it was hit by hammer ![]()
