Emailed PS support and was told they can't help over email as need to verify my details?! What's the point of having that then? Strange....

So bit the bullet and phoned and the girl couldn't grasp the problem - told me initially she didn't think there was any such bundle where you got the PS3 game and the Vita game???

Anyway... After 7 mins of explaining, she is escalating to someone else. I have to phone back if I don't hear anything after 2 working days.

I can see me having to just write this off as a waste of time and money. It's probably gonna cost more in phone calls than if I just buy the Extreme version separately....

It really is a pointless service that should be retired. The only time issues are ever resolved is when using the forum or over the phone.

From the sound of things you got a rather inexperienced callcentre lady. It might be worthwhile calling again and seeing if you get a better response. You may also find SayNoTo0870 a helpful website when dealing with callcentres.

 

 (It's not just useful for sony, but loads of callcentres and premium numbers from all areas and gives you either a free 0800, or a regular 01, 02 or 03 number that'll cost less or be included in your minutes or tariff.)

Had a voicemail from Support asking me to phone back. I did so and was told my money had been credited back to my account for the StarDrone bundle, as they realised there was a problem with it. They said it had now been rectified if I wanted to download again.... Again, though... not sure why they couldnt have told me in the voicemail or via email that they had credited the money back and I could re-download again without problems? Crazy that I had to phone back again? Ah well... glad it got sorted in the end. Not sure I dare try downloading it again though :/

I have received an update on this issue:

 

This issue should now be fixed and will work for new purchasers of the game.

 

Users who have been affected by this issue who have already purchased it have been advised to contact their local support for a refund.

Right, phoned Playstation first time and was told to try using a wired connection to download the game, didn't work, phoned today and have now been given port numbers that I have to ring my service provider and get them to import them in. Each time I have told them about this forum post. It doesn't make any sence that I can download a game from my list that is 15gb and can't get StarDrone to work which is 135mb's!!! To be honest it has just put me off of buying anything off the store as if I can't get something to work that cost £4 what's to say the next thing I buy for say £35 won't work either. I also don't belive that changing any ports will help, I just think that the file that they attached to my account is a corrupt file.

Ask to speak to a supervisor and quote this thread to them. They may budge if you say that others have been refunded etc.
