Had the same fault what I did was turn vita off then turn on while holding right analogue stick to the right and it's been good since then about 2 weeks now,not sure if hardware or software fault my vita is the 3G as well .

Same here I've got the 3G model what I have found that worked for me is turn the system off completely then turn on while holding the right analogue stick to the right and should be fine done so about 2 weeks ago been fine since then. The problem affected unit 13 and resistance mostly so not sure if a hardware fault or software please let us know what Sony says the problem was thanks.

yeah turning off and on worked for me too as did stick recalibration but it would always start doing it again tried it with a few games and the same thing happened again and again i will keep you posted as too the result.

mines gone now :smileysad: heard a hard reset works but will i lose my saves? also to the chap thats sent his in...... did they not do an exchange at your door like they did with the ps'3? and how do you go about sending it in? as im away in 5 days time and really want to take it with me as i want to finnish uncharted im now on chapter 33 when it decided to stop!

The games saves are save on the memory card. Just remove that before you do your hard reset and your game saves will be safe

no didnt excahnge there and then still waiting on my new one to arrive tbh been a while 7 to 14 days they said ill keep you updated when it arrives and if they said anything about the one i sent back.

right i now have a new vita forgot how much of a git getting it set up was i forgot to deactivate the one i sent back so i had to remotely do that and updating it was a complete pig to do it didnt like my memory card as it was already registered to my old vita just a ball ache but all sorted now and very happy.

oh and my saves are all fine and safe on the memory card for the chap who was playing uncharted.
