Last month I was updating PlayTv on a slow internet connection and it corrupted my PlayTv program on my XMB. Anyway, since I bought this years ago from Europe, when it installs, it can't pick up any channels as I live in Gladstone and no channels use the European frequencies or whatever here.

Anyway, so I need the Australian disc to reinstall. I was wondering if there was anyone in Gladstone, Queensland that could lend me the disc for about an hour so I could reinstall, OOORRR if there was anyone willing to sell me their PlayTV disc OOORRR if there was anyone willing to send me their disc, then I send it back (I'll pay for postage and the inconvenience with a free infamous comic if you would like?).

If anyone could help out, I'd be very happy.

have you tried setting the region to "other" when you run the setup?

thats what i had to do, then i was able to update the playtv software.

Yeah, I've tried that, but I think I'm in one of those regions that don't have any channels on the short broadcast frequency or whatever. I guess no one is willing to give up their copy so I'll have to find another way of getting around it....

i got mine from UK and used the UK disc to install then just updated via patch and gets all channels. Would this disc help u bro?

Thanks for the offer skywarp00, but that's the same version that I have and because it doesn't pick up any channels, it won't go past the install screen... appreciate your offer though!

I'm in Rockhampton and have a disc with PlayTV v 1.20 if you're still chasing a re-install.
