I've tried setting my playtv location setting to "other" to be able to export my recorded clips to the xmb but It doesn't work. I can't see the copy to home menu button.
Does it work for everyone else? Am I doing something wrong.
It's annoying that this function was removed for Australia. I've recorded the show already, i just want to back it up to my larger external hard drive.
Thanks

1) Record programme to PlayTV
2) Try to change region to "other"
3) Channel scan returns no channels (Because of my region)
4) PlayTV defaults back to "Australia" hence no export functionalilty.
This may be what's happening to you.
That's what happened to me, i'm in regional NSW
How do we get around this ??

I'm assuming when you try to scan in "other" it only scans in VHF, which is why a couple of us who live in regional areas can't pickup any channels (UHF), making it revert back to "Australia" region. In Aussee's case he gets the Melbourne (VHF) as well as the regional (UHF) in his area, so he is able to pickup channels in "other" and use the export to XMB feature.
Everywhere around the world uses VHF which is what PlayTV was only originally able to tune into, it wasn't until the latest firmware that it was able to pickup UHF.
So where are you at Codez ??
