Are the server's down tonight?

I am sitting at a black screen with loading in the bottom right hand corner, with the occasional interuption by a message saying " A server error connection has occurred".

 

Have the servers gone offline?

The sefrvers, to my knowledge, go offline every day (or almost) between 8 and 9 in the night.
