Over the shoulder view and Razorback width

My 2 biggest complaints about the game at the moment;

1)  I'm really not sure if the over-the-shoulder zoom view works for a game like Starhawk.  Warhawk didn't have it, and it kept the FOV wide, made it feel way more chaotic and allowed you to see everythign going on around you as you targeted the enemy.  With the shoulder view, the FOV reduces and you get the 'zoom' effect, but whether this detracts from the pace of the action too much - I don't know.  Personally I like the sticky aim of Warhawk and the point and shoot mechanic - made it feel much more crazy and fun.

2)  The Razorback at speed is just way, way to OP.....and it's because it's too damn wide.  Either make it narrow or allow people to survive if they can align with the middle of it ie/ you have to hit them with the wheels to kill them.  At the moment, getting Roadkills is way too easy.

Lastly, I really miss the steampunk feel of Warhawk - everything looked a bit rusty and abused (like you'd imagine it would in a war).  In stahawk - it looks like lego,

I completely agree on both points.  This is still my #1 peev about this game.  Simply move the character back to the center of the screen and maybe make it slightly smaller.  The over the shoulder view throws off my direction when running and espceially aiming weapons at troops.  When I run up to a guy and begin shooting the enemy, common sense says shoot in front of your character, not the center of the screen.

As for the razorback, it's just slightly too large of a vehicle.  Warhawk jeeps were better.

Re: Over the shoulder view and Razorback width

I'd like to have the ability to adjust which shoulder I'm looking over.. That's all I'd care about.. as far as roadkilling.. serves those noobs right for not defending themselves.
