yeah thats what i was thinking while reading all of these, it would be cool to have vulnerable spots on the hawk, like hit a fuel tank while its flying (shoot it twice) or shoot the gears and mechanics of the leg in a walking meck, of course it would take a few shots to do anything, 1 or 2 would be to little. but I was kinda thinkin that adding something like this would really change the direction of the game, although It would be cool I personally dont think this should be in the final product, to many dynamics in a game can ruin it.

Now that could be fun!!!

A mobility kill......

It gradually slows as each tyre bursts......

 

And just for fun as you burst the tyres the driver gets the song "Three Wheels on my Wagon" played to him as his driving it lol.....

This could be a big idea right here! :Lol:

I like the idea of shooting a mech and it starting to limp and slow down because of a broken gear or somethig? ofcourse this would probably not be taken well due to it being easier to kill but you could speed up the walking speed and hitpoints by a few percent to balance it out :smileyhappy:

While these ideas would be nice, I'm not sure if it's realistic from a game development point of view. So while it would be nice, we might have to work on the assumption that some of these ideas may be hard or even impossible to implement without loosing some other significant feature of the game. Sorry to be a buzz kill...
