There's a US beta forum as well I think, but I can't access it. Might just be me though, I haven't been able to view the US public forums ever since they changed it a year or so back.


I don't think EU psn users can access it

Definatly agree.

Get rid of combo dodging. Dodging is too hard.

Double tap to boost.

Tracking is too easy because of arrows.

Bring back different reticles.

 

Damage is fair this time though, a single hawk can't just dominate a whole base.

I think flying is terrible, I was a pro flight flier in warhawk and the mechanics were perfect there......  All they had to do with the flight mode was get rid of the NF backwards lock glitch and limit the amount of times you could twirl around, that's it period!  There was no reason to trash the original mechanics and go backwards...

the advanced flight suuxxxx hard, please bring back warhawk proflight, i dont want no usless pre programmed dodge technique that dont work and leave me disorientated. i wanna be 1 with the plane, move it how i feel and want it to move, bring back PRESS R2 for speed and DOUBLE TAP R2 for boost, and fix rectiles.

Everything I am reading here makes me worried - why fix something that wasn't broken - apart from the reverse lock the flight was perfect :smileysad:

I will reserve judgement fully until I have it in my hands, but I trust the judgement of others on here and that alone may be enough to kill this game off for me and many others - still plenty of time to implement the WH flight controls, surely?

Harv said on fb they were aware of the scrubbing issues and were deciding what to do about it. I hope they change it for release...

Vissy is sorting Dylan Jobe out with access to our forum as we speak. Wicked.

 

Mikey raised an extremely good point about retaining the ability to dodge a missile without losing track of your target, I think that's really worth highlighting :smileyhappy:

Yes.

 

I seem to be able to do the same dodge I did in Warhawk but it doesn't dodge any missiles lol. I think they need to bring back 'hold R2 to go faster'.

I am starting to think the damage is fine for the Starhawks especially when they have the ability be be airborne or used as a ground attack. Many times I have had one swoop down transform, kill me with one set of rockets and then fly off again before I have had chance to say Pina Colada. Think about if there were 2 or 3 attacking a base and the strength was increased it could be the end for any opposing team. It is so easy for a Starhawk attacking on the ground who get's damaged to just fly off and repair before coming back for more.
