I like just having one skill, it means you have to think tactically about which one you have active. The skill you use at the beginning of the match probably won't be the same one you're using at the end of it. I like being able to adjust my approach depending on the changing demands of the game.
For example, the rift-gathering skill can be useful very early in the game if you want to build a decent forward base but once you've set up the structures that you need you'll want to switch to something else.
Also, for those who don't follow Dylan on Twitter, it's interesting to note that there will be a bigger selection of skills in the final game, they're only testing a select batch of them right now.

Lets hope there be in the same vein as these ones we have now.......
And not have a load of kill assist type perks/skills in the final cut where the community does'nt get to give any feedback that would mean anything .....

I'm getting rather irritated at the one that allows people to be excluded from the radar.

They should make an anti-skill tree or something of the like. You can pick a skill and a skill that cancels out another skill. For example: Advanced Radar, even if the enemy has the skill that makes them invisible on radar you can still see them on radar and anyone near you can see them as well.

theres been a few times now i'd make a sniper tower. as its commin i get jet pack already there. hit up bunker for shoty n rockets. n by the time i get out a teamate already reclaimd my sniper tower n i havent even gotten my sniper yet. n now no points to make a new 1

cant even follow a hawk by radar. radar range just doesnt cut it. n if ur using blown up map to find him ur not already fighting him then he has good reason 4 stealth. but when ur in the middle of a dogfight stealth doesnt help 4 anything. quick missle lock n arrow points u to them after. jet trails from where they flew. if ur not stayin on them with those alone your gonna loose him anyways so combat intel n stealth mean nothing except 4 when it comes tyo finding a target to begin with. from there on its all skills

There are radar skills, however I've been using the "show all enemies" thing and there was still a player whom was completely invisible the entire time. This has only happened once to me but it was an extreme hassle. I'm starting to wonder if it was just a bug.
