Thanks for the opportunity to feedback on the game & I hope changes are made.

 

Ok, First of all, WHY DOESN'T STARHAWK HAVE A PARTY SYSTEM!? It's 2011, & it comes out in 2012 COME ON! 

 

I'm seriously considering passing on this if it doesn't ship with a party system.

 

Secondly please please please make a tutorial video that players HAVE to watch the first time they playstarhawk online because in starhawk team work is everything.

 

If someone wants a hawk in the game they'll build one but if another person wants one, instead of goingto where someone built a Hawk dispenser or whatever They just Build ANOTHER one in a randomlocation just to get one hawk. 

 

I started a game once where one guy started building walls & upgrading it around the flag, I saw that &thought since that guys doing that, I'll quickly build an Armoury & a sniper tower for the team. Two minutes later a team-mate literally builds an armory RIGHT Next to mine because he wanted guns,I was confused, it just doesn't make sense. I know there is a limited to what you can build in the gameso why do people do this?! Noone plays effectively & the game just turns into mindless chaos whereknow one works as a team & then we lose.

 

This problem wasn't in Warhawk because you didn't gave to build the base/defences/offenses, it was alldone for us but the emphasis on teamwork is really strong in this one & its quite annoying to see whatpeople do.

 

Another example is I saved up my rift energy & travelled to another location to build A spawn point for the team, After I built that, I couldn't build anymore because we had reached our team building limit & I just knew people built stuff that was already there! 

 

The funny thing is I'm sure it costs less to spawn a jeep rather than building a wholegarage especially when someone's already done that.... Well you know where I'm going with this.

 

Anyway Just make a tutorial video players have to watch(can't skip) the first three times "how to play effectively as a team." or something along the lines of that

Permanent B&B number display - May have already been mentioned but I really would like the -/32 number to be permanently displayed on the screen, and maybe when 32/32 is reached it turns red. It's really annoying when you're in a pickle and someone's shooting at you and you need to build something then realise you can't. A permanent display would help prepare for that and hopefully encourage the team to be careful how many things they're building and to remember to reclaim useless structures

I like the Idea of a number of structures built always on display, also would like to see a number of each item built next to the icon on the build wheel so you can see how many of that structure your team has.

 

I know that each building has a unique shape on the map I think it would be helpful if they had a key as to what each building is, this will make it easier when spawning at spawn points.

some structures don't seem to appear on the map at all like the jetpack dispenser. I like the idea of a how many building guage. still, I guess a noob that doesn't realise it's a bad hing to build 27 walls isn't going to know what the guage is for ...

Mikeymonty, the structures actually do show on the map but you have to zoom in on the spawn map to see where they are. I agree, they're very difficult to see. Green on green is not easy to see, especially when structures are built close together or small like jetpacks.

Hopefully LBI will make them easier to see on the map. Maybe giving each structure a very thin black outline on the map

And noobs will learn what the structure limit is eventually. I feel it's important to show it clearly though. No one starts playing knowing everything, it took me 3 days to work out how to respawn cars and hawks. In the full game there should be a tutorial anyway

hmm haven't noticed them on my map when i press select but I could be wrong. agreed they should visually spruce up the view of structures on the map.

 

remember the main game will have the single player and co-op modes. the first level of the single player is basically a tutorial anyway...

It's just an idea,

What if you could only build near a pod beacon. It will limit the build and battle concept maybe to much, but you can create a solid base on the spot you placed a pod beacon.
And only 1 type of building per base (Except wals and turrets)

Now there are building everywhere around the map.

Nope, I won't build spawn beacon near walls that block certain paths and you can't possibly arrange buildings so that they could fit and be positioned well at the same time.
