I have stolen a flag on foot multiple times and when i was beyond the enemy home base there was no one stopping me. I could just walk it to home base easy.

When the enemy flag is in the home base there's a big icon in the screen, while everybody knows where it is. Maybe the can use that icon once it's been stolen. Then you can intercept or recollect quickly.

What if they have build the walls with the ladders on the outside? You can't get out of there.

Don't know if this counts as a suggestion or an issue:

 

Whenever you are unable to connect to a server you always return to the start menu, it's very annoying after 3 times of failing and you return to the start menu, having to wait for the hawk to pass before being able to see the server list again. If anything it should return to the server list immediately so you could easily try another server.

Yes. For me, the colours at the moment could not be any worse.

 

I love the fact that the enemy is always red but if my team could be yellow or blue it would make such a difference.

Johrav, if they build Walls around a flag with the ladders on the outside, no you can't get out once you're inside so you need to prepare. Destroy the Walls before entering. This is where team effort is supposed to come in

SUGGESTION - Score for people who help bring home the flag

PROBLEM - This was one of my biggest, biggest frustrations with warhawk. Often, very, very often, I grabbed the flag from enemy base (and 95% of the time in warhawk it was flippin, FLIPPIN hard to get the flag out of their base), drove it practically the full stretch of the map, then someone TOW's me or a genius starts expertly ramming my car with his warhawk, and then I die. Then Johnny Camper comes along, picks up the flag and claims all the points, and the flag score at the end makes it appear he did all the work.

And in a different scenario, often, again very often, someone else may get the flag. I'm right there ready to pick them up in the car. I taxi them the full length of the map, choosing best routes, dodgin mines and warhawks, I do all the work, then he just gets out, captures the flag, gets all the glory and I get nothing.

Something smacks of injustice to me there.

SOLUTION - So I propose this. A scoring system is designed that works out how far a player has brought the flag, so even if he dies and doesn't capture it, he still earns relative points.

And also, if a player taxis the flag carrier across the whole map, he shares the points or at least gets some points for his work.

It was always a great frustration of mine when this happened in warhawk. And I really want to see a better score system to help with that in starhawk

I'm in complete agreement with you ShadowFlareX.

While it is just important that the team score the flag, it is a great injustice when you do all of the work. There has to be some mechanism, like cab fare, where points can be racked up while you're carrying the flag. This "fare" will stay active until the flag is either captured, in which case you earn said points bonus; or returned to the enemy base, where it will reset.

There should also be some sort of perk for drivers, gunners, and now in Starhawk repair crew (since you no longer have to get out of the vehicle to repair it from the passenger seat) who keep the vehicle on the road and get it back home to score.

Assistance points would help to incentivize team work in the game.

MazinkaizerSKL I agree, although the problem with having the score continuously increase the longer you hold the flag will just mean some people will never capture it and just hold onto it the whole game. I think if a system were used where it can tell the distance you traveled towards home base, and give you points relative to that, I think that would work well
