Sorry couldn't edit my last comment but you made a good point about repairing. I think not just for flag carrying but in all aspects of the game you should get points for repairing structures. Seems a little off that you can use a whole clip of repair tool to regenerate a structure to get no reward back for it

Kudos to this post, I think it's a brilliant idea, similar to what Uncharted has at the moment. There is so many epic moments that can happen in Starhawk, if you were able to view every game you've played recently, and have the option to save certain segments or whatever, then possibly be able to upload to youtube, or to convert to a video file to your HDD.

 

Also, I was thinking when pressing the start menu, that it instantly goes to the score screen, rather than having to press X to get onto 'Score'. Then toggle with R1 or something to get to the other options? Also it can be a bit of a pain scrolling down, it would be nice if it showed all players on both teams on the scoreboard.

 

One other thing is the 'instant' quick select on the weapons, it feels like it takes a few seconds for the weapons box to pop up.

 

Otherwise I'm finding it hard to tear myself away from it, gonna be a long wait till the release date!

XP for repairing things is a MASSIVE incentive to keep stuff in working order.

An easy solution would be to put a points cap on the counter.

 

So it would run up for the flag holder while the flag is in play.

 

If the flag is captured, you get those points.

 

If you capture the flag, but do not drop it (return the enemy flag all the way from their base), then you just get points for capping the flag. Not for touching the flag. 

 

Giving points for touching and holding the flag would ensure the team keeps the flag moving. Heck, even a post game bonus like Revenge, like Flag Relay (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relay_race) or something.

 

It seems like it would be something simple to do, but I'm not a programmer so I could be completely wrong.

 

Suggestion:

 

Put directions on the mini map and large map. North, East, West, South. This will make it easier to call out locations when you need assistance.

 

Suggestion:

 

Move the large map to the lower left of the screen. Keep it the same size, but just make it scale up. Similar to how the large map in Warhawk was in the upper right and you could still play the game with it on screen.

You cant shoot through the openings in the bunker, which makes it impossible to kill anyone from the outside, which is highly unfair. (I have only tried this with grenades and sniper rifle thus far, not certain if other weapons can shoot in or not.)

You can fire out with other weapons... I do it all the time with the RPG :smileytongue:

You can only fire out & not in as theres a forcefield or something in the windows which seems a little unfair as you say....
