Any suggestions to improve the issue?: I put some thought into this and i think it's a really great idea, so good i'm suprised you guys haven't put it in yourselves. The solution is a roll/dodge action. I don't quite know how you could implement this in the controls, but i'm sure you could figure something out. It would make the game play that much more tactical. Plus, it gives the infantry something against vehicle, other than underpowered weapons.

There has been quite a few requests for a roll/dodge function from the people here TBH

I appreciate why people want it but then I could see it being abused in a troop vs troop confrontation where some **** will keep rolling and rolling around like a weavel and then you'd get killed.

There just such a large balancing issue with this game that it would be hard to implement.

PS - I do get frustrated with being run over alot but things like RPG's and mines are a great counter to jeeps...... it just being equipped to deal with them

Re: GUI -- Options -- Controls -- Add Invert for both axis

Developers && QA && Sales ...

Let me put it this way, if Camera Invert X/Y doesnt make the game by lauch, me and a bunch of ppl who cant play it any other way wont be buying your software.   It should be in there, PERIOD. I understand that it wouldnt be at the forefront of your task list, but i hope it finds time before release.

I hate to to miss out on a great game like this one, but I dont make the calls.

Re: GUI -- Options -- Controls -- Add Invert for both axis

There will be alot more controller customisations in full game, you should contact dylan and say that you feel alot of people need this

Re: GUI -- Options -- Controls -- Add Invert for both axis

1 SOLUTION FOR 2 PROBLEMS:

Give us a REAR CAMERA VIEW for vehicles and make it harder to scrub missiles in Hawks

HOW:

The R3 button currently launches countermeasures in the Hawk. Well, not anymore, just like WH you should select them on the weapon wheel. It then becomes a choice whether to equip something defensive or something offensive and gives other players more of a fighting chance to shoot you down. This then frees up the R3 button to give the rear view for all vehicles which is very handy in dogfights and chases.

Re: GUI -- Options -- Controls -- Add Invert for both axis

I would support a roll/dodge for troops... but it should have a cool down of lyk 10 seconds...

other wise u just get something lyk red dead, where it's just roll, roll, roll, shoot, roll, roll, roll....

it should essentially be utilized once in a dual, which would be alright, but I can live withou it.

...

I also would maybe suggest when players just and fire rifle it' should lose some accuracy...just seems logical, I always jump shoot to win, but seems unfair.

I think help text for 3 seconds before the gamestart could be a nice think. Like  battlefield 3

example: dont't  build the same structure side by side (ok ok except walls :smileytongue:)

Good idea.

And maybe some 'Did you knows'

Like 'Did you know that you can kill a hawk pilot with a knife?'

Re: Starhawk Beta - Features/Other Feedback

Why is it that the i can't play with my clan member?? i can't even invite him to a game because he won't recive the message, then if i join the game he's in, we will play against each other...

what's the point in a buddy system if you can't use it?

Re: Starhawk Beta - Features/Other Feedback

Just because they're on your friends list doesn't mean you have to be on the same team, if you join a friends game and they're on the other team it's because they have more players

That's the way it was in warhawk and half the time playing against clan members was the best bit :smileytongue:

Re: Starhawk Beta - Features/Other Feedback

Love the game. I think it's kind of silly that we can see our enemy's holograms for drop locations. Kind of takes away some of the "build and battle" advantage when your chances of dropping a building on your enemies is zero because they can see it coming.
