ok, i have to ask cause i cant seem to be able to find it
but how can u shoot multiple rockets at once in a hawk
i have found that yellow weap (dont know the name yet, sorry just started playing) which does an auto lock on a hawk or jetpacker
but sometimes when i'm flying i see multiple rockets incoming towards mee, how do they do that
pressing L1 just fires one rocket with me :/
i feel like a noob, and that after playing warhawk for about a year ![]()

I've set mine up more like Warhawk. There is a setting in the settings menu which allows L1 to be used to lock-on rockets. With this setting switched on you hold L1 and the number of rockets locked-on will increase and then release L1 to fire.
I'm not sure how you do it with this switched off.

so it was just a setting ![]()
dont think there is a lockon without this setting, so i dont know why this isnt turn on by default ...

Auto locking Hawk weapons is the most ridiculous design choice ever.
It feels like Lightbox is trying to make Starhawk a game that appeals to the Call of Duty fan in the ground combat, and making the air combat useless and borderline brain dead:
- Canned scrubbing moves
- Reduced flight speeds
- Auto locking missiles.
- Even more generous to players who keep flying into object that Warhawk.
Get rid of missile autlocking entirely, or bring back ground troop weapon lock from Warhawk.
Aiming a gun in a video game is not a mechanic I enjoy. It's why I enjoyed the gun play of Warhawk so much. More importantly Warhawk was incredibly fast paced and if you were on a skilled team you had many vehicles at your disposal to fit your play style.
Starhawk feels nothing like Warhawk in a bad way. At this stage in the Beta it feels like Lightbox would be better off changing the title to something different and distance the game from Warhawk entirely. Starcraft Warriors is a more apt title.

First you whine about autolocking and next you praise it. Let me tell you something, Warhawk had heavy aim assist on ground and heavy aim assist on warhawks too except they locked only at air targets. Starhawk has slim to none aim assist but hawks have it when they fight in the air.

You're misunderstanding my point.
Holding your lock box over an enemy while dogfighting to obtain a lock while holding down fire is the method that should be standard in the hawk.
There should be no just fly around and point your hawk at an enemy for free lock-ons in the options. It's beyond ludicrous.

I am more than impressed with the beta so far, it really is addictive. Like others have said there are little issues which I'm sure shall be rectified, I think mainly for me it will be just adjusting the hawks, making them more powerful and more like the warhawk controls/manouverability.
