Re: Starhawk Beta - Vehicle Feedback

Hawks are near perfect now in my opinion.
I do however think the hawks need to be 20% faster on stomp, if it can transform fast enough, why does it take a while to stomp? (Good on lightbox to position the camera well on stomp)

Razerbacks seem to have a good balance, what do you guys think? Health to low or to high?

I'm just loving the fact how the passenger is not totally useless in starhawk now.
I would love to have a upgrade feature on the razerbacks, like 4 rifts for missles or more health added on

Re: Starhawk Beta - Vehicle Feedback

The Razorback is at its best when played as a team vehicle. When used to its fullest potential it is near unstoppable. I had the pleasure of playing with FangFaceUK for several rounds in this thing. In the hands of two who know how to handle this vehicle you will dominate the match. To make it work booth players will need to have the repair tool. Full grenades and also a rocket launcher make the perfect loadout. When under attack the gunner position can then switch to the passenger seat and use the repair tool whilst the driver keeps the vehicle moving. If booth players have jet packs CTF is a piece of cake. The passenger seat can lay down missile and grenade fire against buildings whilst the gunner is laying down fire also. If neither player bails and booth die at the same time (ideally), then you can booth spawn at the same Razorback factory and continue to raid the enemy all over. The best way to take out turrets is for the driver to speed right towards them and jump out to do a melay kill on the turrets before it even gets a chance to shoot. The driver can mow down troops and the passenger can MG hawks and buildings. Ideally booth players switch seamlessly between the driver and the passenger position too keep the vehicle from being destroyed and to keep it moving at all times. Even expanding bases is quicker with two as booth can lay down any build and battle structure on the move. Including auto turrets walls and shield generators to keep every enemy at bay. DONE right the Razorback is an absolute joy to ride (pun intended)

Razorback...There has to be an easier way to get in I mean you have to walk all the way around to the driver side to drive, why can you use the D-pad to select what seat you want and block out the seat that already taken on the d-pad. Left can be the driver, up can be the gunner, and right can be the passenger.

Hawk-Mech....I love the transformation it a great tool but it would be great if you can add on a way to view if there is enemy plane behind you.... A quick button to switch from front view to back view and then snap back as soon as you let go of the button.....Because sometime I cant tell if I'm getting hit from behind or from the ground

^^ this is how the gunner can switch between the passenger seat and gunner position to repair the vehicle on the go.

Rif.: Starhawk Beta - Vehicle Feedback

Brief Description of the issue: Roadkills with Razorback are not assigned to me (the driver) but to another player that was the passenger (not the gunner, the other one...whe were 3) when I did the first roadkill. This continued even when the passenger get off from the razorback and I kept killng people driving the same razorback.

Name of vehicle: Razorback

The map which the issue with the vehicle occurs: It happened once, in Space

Suggestions to improve the issue: DK

More info: The battlelog assigned 3 or 4 roadkills to my former passenger, then I tried to kill someone in some other way to check if that was just a razorback issue. The other kills where assigned normally to me. Unfortunately I did not checked again the same razorback.

As stated by others you can press X and direction of the seat you want to jump into.

Keep an eye on the Mini-Map you can see a triangle (enemy hawk) coming from behind you, also you can see little circles flying towards you when being tracked by missiles/RPG, you can then see what sort of evading you will need to perform.

Starhawk Beta - Vehicle Feedback (SUGGESTION) Jetpack

The recent update has resulted undesirable changes to the Jetpack. It used to have longer flight time and faster cool down. Now boost depletes faster and cool down seems to take twice as long. The Jetpack has gone from being a usable form of travel to something barely worth investing in.

Proposed options: Revert to previous functionality; lengthen boost time; shorten cool down; drastically shorten cool down if boost is not completely depleted.

Re: Starhawk Beta - Vehicle Feedback (SUGGESTION) Jetpack

The reason that happened though, Oaski, was because it was basically an way of completely owning anyone bellow you by both abusin the rediculous fliht time possible with it and the auto aim on the rifle.

I agree the JP got hit with the nerf stick hard due to the reasons stated by Liam511, however this is the way LBI have been nurfing everything, they hit it so bad then bring it up to find the middle ground.

DJ stated on Starhawk Radio that the JP will be buffed in a future patch.
