Bad kiwi! Lol and have to agree with you all.
When they unveiled it, i was like.
Totally ruined R&C. I say, either end the series or make one lastt epic game.
A few fresh new characters will kick the series back in gear! Extermination of the series is 20 years away yet.

I understand this game is definately different to there previous editions!
My mother is a huge fan of this series and even she finds it very different but the fact I have to love about it is the 4 way play.
I brought my PlayStation 3 to my mother's place and if it wasn't for the four play, I wouldn't have been able to play on MY PlayStation at all.

The best way to describe this game would be a Ratchet & Clank 4 player party game, that's pretty much how it plays out. Basically it's for a group of friends to gather around and have a fun time destroying different robots and competing for the highest score. Now, I don't know if that was Insomniac's intention with All 4 One, but that's the way it's turned out.
It's a different R&C game, but still pretty fun to play either playing by yourself or with others. Though I've found playing with 4 players to be too much, i.e. there'd be too much happening on the screen and I can't keep track of where I am or what I'm doing. I've found 2 or 3 player games to be pretty fun, and it can be still fun playing on your own.
It offers the R&C style of humour with the different banter between the characters - including different 'commentators' throughtout the game. Plus a nice selection of creative weapons, a staple of the R&C franchise, good for defeating your enemies in a variety of ways.
In conclusion while it may not be the game the fans wanted, it's still worth playing.
